Enemy Organization, Tactics and Force Structure
Analysis of Relative Combat Power Ratio (RCPR) is a very important aspects while planning in
both Tactical and Operational level. In staff College army students carry out lot of indoor exercises where they have the
scope of analysing the probable adversary's combat potential and a balanced comparison with own Battlefield Operating
Systems (BOS). Here we have also learnt the likely tactics that our adversary is going to adopt against us and we made
most of our decision after carrying out vigorous study of enemy doctrine, theatre resources and tactics while at the same
time considering her overall force projected against us.

discussions finally through an indoor exercise where army officers along with the air and naval counter part formulate the
plan of an amphibious landing on a hostile shore. This is also an unique oppurtunity for the naval and airforce officers to

Asia. UN peacekeeping also figures prominantly in curriculam. Above all, learning through the interaction amongst the
students from different countries with varried experience and eminent scholars, analysts, specialists from home and abroad
remain to be one of the important components in the curriculam.
Master of Defence Studies (MDS).

military aspects are included in this degree. All students are to carry out a research on pre-selected subject on military,
economy, regional or global security etc, that has to be written within 7000 words. This is generally termed as Individual
Reseach Paper (IRP). It is a major assignment of the course and MDS program. On completion of the research, all students are

determined by the collective board and sponsored Directing Staffs of the college. All officers are awarded with the certificate
on Masters in Defence Studies from National University of Bangladesh.
Intelligence Preparation of Battlefield (IPB)
Intelligence preparation of the battlefield (IPB), the Army's traditional methodology
for finding and analyzing relevant information for its operations, is not effective for tackling the operational and intelligence
challenges of urban operations. In the college we have learnt new ways to categorize the complex terrain, infrastructure,
and populations of urban environments and incorporate this information into Army planning and decisionmaking processes.
Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community. We strive to make a
difference by educating the public and expanding our reach.
